Claire Cox (born December 19, 1975; Peterborough, England) is the English actress who plays Temperance Yeardley in SKY's Jamestown.

She is known for her roles as Katharina von Bora in Luther (2003), Magritte in Spooks (2007) and Dorothea Jarrow in Agatha Christie's Poirot (2013). 

Career[]

Claire graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama with a BA in Acting. She started her acting career at the National Theatre alongside Judi Dench. She worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Manchester Royal Exchange, The Rose Theatre Kingston , The Tricycle Theaters Women and many others. She had her debut on television in 1995 with the role of Ianthe Cavendish in the mini-series The Choir. Even since, she landed several main and recurring roles such as Catherine Heaseman in The Last Salute (1998-1999), Julie Brown in A Touch of Frost (2004-2006), Lauren Jameson / Lottie Croker in Doctors (2008-2012) and Magda in Fresh Meat (2016).
